1. Acceptance of Terms

By using GoCozyCarpet's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of our carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, rug cleaning, and pet stain removal services in the San Jose Bay Area.

2. Service Description

GoCozyCarpet provides professional cleaning services including:

  • Residential and commercial carpet cleaning
  • Upholstery cleaning for sofas, chairs, and mattresses
  • Area rug and specialty rug cleaning
  • Pet stain and odor removal
  • Eco-friendly cleaning solutions

All services are performed by trained professionals using industry-standard equipment and methods.

3. Scheduling and Appointments

Service appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling our phone numbers or contacting us via email. We will confirm all appointments and provide estimated arrival times. Customers are expected to be present during the scheduled service time or arrange for authorized access to the premises.

4. Pricing and Payment

Service pricing is based on factors including area size, cleaning type, and condition of items to be cleaned. Final pricing will be confirmed before service begins. Payment is due upon completion of services and can be made via cash, check, or approved electronic payment methods.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours advance notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. GoCozyCarpet reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about items to be cleaned
  • Removing valuable or fragile items from cleaning areas
  • Ensuring adequate ventilation and access to work areas
  • Disclosing any known stains, damage, or special considerations
  • Providing access to electrical outlets and water sources as needed

7. Service Guarantee and Limitations

We strive to provide excellent results and customer satisfaction. However, cleaning results may vary based on fabric type, age of stains, and previous treatments. While we use professional-grade equipment and techniques, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains or the restoration of heavily damaged items.

8. Liability and Insurance

GoCozyCarpet is fully insured and bonded. Our liability is limited to the actual cost of cleaning services provided. We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage not disclosed by the customer
  • Damage caused by customer negligence or misuse
  • Color bleeding or shrinkage in fabrics not suitable for cleaning
  • Items left unattended during or after service

9. Health and Safety

We use eco-friendly and safe cleaning products whenever possible. Customers with allergies, respiratory conditions, or chemical sensitivities should inform us before service begins. We recommend adequate ventilation during and after cleaning services.

10. Drying Time and Care Instructions

Drying times vary based on humidity, temperature, and air circulation. Typical drying times are 4-8 hours for carpets and 6-12 hours for upholstery. We will provide care instructions and recommendations for maintaining cleaned items.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding our services should be reported within 48 hours of service completion. We will work with customers to resolve issues fairly and promptly. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled through binding arbitration under California state law.

12. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect customer privacy and maintain confidentiality of all customer information. Our privacy practices are outlined in our Privacy Policy. We may use service photos for marketing purposes with customer consent.

13. Modifications to Terms

GoCozyCarpet reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in the appropriate courts of Santa Clara County, California.
